No.
5, 10, 15, 20!
Someone already asked numbers 10 and 15, so here are 5 and 20:
5. If you were given the opportunity to spend 48 hours with absolutely anyone (living or dead), who would you spend it with and what would you do?
I was going to give a thoughtful, personal answer, but then I realized I’m not going to come up with any satisfying answer that way. So I’m going to go with James Madison, so I could interview him about his intent regarding the Constitution, and then I would know for certain if certain people were blowing smoke out their asses regarding originalism.
20. What is one of your favorite song lyrics? (Who is it by?)
If we’re not talking about favorite lyrics of all time, which would involve much more thinking than I’m willing to do at 1 in the morning, then I’m going to go with the lyrics that are bouncing around my head right now:
“Take my love, take my land;Take me where I cannot stand.I don’t care, I’m still free; You can’t take the sky from me.”
Written by Joss Whedon and performed by Sonny Rhodes.
Yeah, it's a musical here in Brazil. I'm not actually supposed to be posting stuff like that, I mean, legally... Haha But since you all aren't in brazil, and the few who are, aren't connected with this area, I believe it's safe to open up with you guys
Even though we were just finishing a conversation, hi.
1. First impression: Something to do with owls, I think.2. Truth is: Among a few other, less shallow reasons for following you, like owls, I'm pretty sure (because this was about a year and a half ago) the deciding factor was that you're cute.3. How old do you look: I'm not sure how much I'm biased by the fact that I know how old you are, or by the fact that I'm terrible at knowing how old someone is by looking. Honestly, I'd probably say 17 if I didn't know better.4. Have you ever made me laugh: I believe so, yes.5. Have you ever made me mad: I don't believe so, no.6. Best feature: Your taste in music, obviously.7. Have I ever had a crush on you: I've had a few pretty severe crushes, and you weren't one of those ones, but yeah, I think you'd have qualified for a light crush.8. You’re my: Friend. Or Tumblr friend, if qualifiers are necessary, and they might be if I'm talking to people who don't think the internet counts as quote-unquote real.9. Name in my phone: N/A, but "Jessie R." 10. Should you post this too: If you like. I mean, obviously I want to hear what you (and others) think of me, but that has very little bearing on whether you should post this.
hideoustricksonthebrain replied to your photo: love me
I definitely just lol’d.
;)
9! 10! 28! 32!
It took me a moment to remember why following numerals with exclamation points looks perfectly natural, but once I did I decided that you didn't actually mean for me to answer 9 factorial (which apparently is 362,800).
9. Do you root for the Rebellion or the Empire?
As I've gotten older, I've grown to appreciate the desire for freedom and non-conformity that the Rebel Alliance represents. That said, the Empire's just too badass not to root for them.
At least, that was my instinct when I first saw the movies way back when.
10. Who is your favorite fictional doctor?
I don't know! Honestly, I don't know if I've been with the Doctor long enough for him to have claimed the top spot, I was with House maybe a little too long, I was never a fan of Doogie Howser, and my friend called dibs on Simon Tam. Umm...
Why not Zoidberg?
28. What country produces your favorite cheese? If you don’t like cheese, please justify the existence of that particular dark hole in your soul.
My favorite cheeses are parmesan, asiago, romano, and mozzarella. So, even if I had to pick only one favorite, my answer would still be the same: Italy.
32. To which Hogwarts professor do you most relate?
I'm not Dumbledore because I'm simply not awesome enough. I'm not Snape because I'm not quite that mentally tortured. I'm not Trelawney because of SCIENCE. I'm not Flitwick, Sprout, Binns, Sinistra, Vector, or Grubbly-Plank because I don't feel like I have enough information about them. I'm not paranoid enough to be Moody, I'm not nearly personable enough to be Lupin, I'm not (quite) conceited enough to be Lockhart, and I'm not bitchy enough to be Umbridge.
I'm leaning toward either McGonagall or Slughorn; they're both talented, but they're also both perfectly happy as second in command instead of first. I'm going to go with Slughorn because I don't feel confident enough to say that I can relate to the badassery of Minerva McGonagall; and hey, I was sorted into Slythern, after all.
9, 21, 25, 31. Because you asked so nicely.
Much obliged. Merci beaucoup.
9. Your best friend has conquered the world and has offered you the governorship of the country of your choice. Which do you choose?
Canada, because I used to live there, its population and economy are highly developed, and it's the world's number one producer of uranium. If I ever needed to revolt against my friend because of increasing despotism, I feel that Canada would give me the best chance at success. A larger but otherwise similar country, like France or the UK, wouldn't work because I would need the element of surprise and, let's be honest, no one would see Canada coming.
21. Favorite Disney princess?
Mulan. She's not technically a "princess," but she's easily the most kickass of the bunch. Also, "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from her eponymous movie is very easily one of my favorite Disney songs ever. I'm pretty sure it's everyone's favorite, actually.
25. What’s your favorite film from 1993?
I chose 1993 because that year had so many great movies: Jurassic Park, The Pelican Brief, Schindler's List, The Fugitive, Mrs. Doubtfire. But probably my favorite, even more than Jurassic Park(!), would have to be Groundhog Day; it's very solid on character development, and Bill Murray is fucking hilarious.
31. Favorite hair color on members of your preferred persuasion?
I've noticed that I prefer deeper colors; a simple bleach blonde is ergo my least favorite. Of course, it varies according to individuals, and I don't have any absolute rules on it or anything, but my most favorite is probably Karen Gillan's particular shade of red.
