hey friendo, what was warren's power placement like?
warren’s power placement was quick, easy, & everyone couldn’t wait for it to be over ( phrasing ? ). it had basically already been decided before he’d even stepped onto the school grounds — boomer had taken one look at the incoming students list, spotted warren’s name, & sworn. son of a hero & one of the worst villains in the world ? yeah, that kid was gonna have powers, & they weren’t gonna make the same mistake with warren that they’d made with barron all those years back. so basically in the same way everyone was so sure about will’s placement, so too was everyone sure about warren’s. boomer actually left warren to last, because he didn’t really wanna deal with some kid flaming up or cutting off a limb & regenerating it at 10 in the morning. so warren’s placement was last, & took basically all of 15 seconds to place him.
‘ what’s your power ? ’‘ pyrokinesis & invulnerability. ’‘ . . . here’s a car. let’s see if you survive it. oh look you did. hero ! ’
no one saw his flame powers that day, but it didn’t matter — everyone knew about them now & his reputation was set. but hey . . . at least he got put in hero placement !
