This is an rp/ask blog for Cult of the Lamb OCs, run by @jeyk2117.

Hidewood is a small settlement deep in the Darkwood, hidden from prying eyes. It's impossible to find it without help. Its villagers are those who don't want to worship any of the crown bearers and seek refuge from them and their cults.

The main character of this blog is Finn. You can try to ask others just as they can not answer you.

This is a must-read for everyone!

This blog is run by adult and is not recommended for minors. The blog's age limit is 16+. This blog may contain graphic and textual images of violence, images of blood, cult theme, themes of alcohol, smoking and other things, suggestive and NSFW content, obscene language. Posts with adult themes will be marked as 18+. Now you are warned. I'm not responsible for people who ignore the rules and warnings, as well as age restrictions.

Everything that happens on the blog is fictional and has nothing to do with reality.

I don't run 18+ RPs with those who will not confirm their age to me directly. If you lie to me about your age, it's not my responsibility. I have no right to demand your documents that can confirm your age.

I have every right to control the fate of my characters and to change them the way I want. You can't make any decisions about my characters without my consent, even if I leave Tumblr. You can't hurt my characters unless I want you to.

No time-sensitive RP. This blog was created for fun and entertainment, besides it I have a personal life and hobbies, to which I devote most of my time.

Not all questions can be answered.

You can create your own characters for this blog, but first discuss it with me. The main rule is that your character shouldn't be a crown bearer/god or their follower.

Cotton, Alm and Shira don't exist for this blog. The actions of these characters have no effect on mine. We are not talking about them and their mods here.

The opinion of each crown bearer and their cults.

None of the crown bearers and their followers can be regarded as a friend or more for any of the villagers of Hidewood!

● - This is probably the closest relationship there can be between the villagers of the settlement and the crown bearer. They still don't want to serve you, they don't want to see you and your followers near their territory, but they don't think badly of you. They can communicate with you or with your followers, but on neutral territory. They are not afraid of you (almost) and will not show aggression as long as you don't threaten them and their territory. Just respect them and they will respect you in return.

● - A neutral relationship. They don't trust you, but they don't see you as an enemy either. They still consider you dangerous and prefer not to communicate with you and your followers. You won't be able to have a small talk with most of them. They won't let you and your followers near their territory either, but at least first they'll try to ask you to leave the territory "politely" and without bloodshed. In neutral territory, they will avoid fighting with you and your followers until you attack first.

● - They despise and hate you and your followers, and that's it. They will immediately attack your followers if they get close to their territory, and you too if they have to. They can also attack your followers away from the settlement, if there is a valid reason.

★ - The villagers of the settlement are doing business with you.

(The attitude of the villagers towards the crown bearers and their followers has been rethought. They hate the four bishops and their cults, are neutral (but wary) to the Lamb and their cult, and can tolerate other crown bearers depending on their behavior. There may be some mutually beneficial relationship between the settlement and the crown bearer, but friendly and romantic relationships are still impossible)

(Still, the villagers won't let the crown bearers and their followers near the settlement. If it is not one of the four bishops, they will try to avoid bloodshed, but they will fight if they have to)

The celebration is over. It's already too late.

The wedding was wonderful. The villagers haven't had so much fun in a long time. Everyone was very tired, but they were happy. There was a lot of dancing, songs, conversations, jokes and wonderful sincere wishes.

There was even a fight. As some people say, there is no wedding without a fight. And even though Asenath was not fighting for the bride, but just with her reflection, the main thing is that she won.

There were also some broken plates, glasses and decorations. Some of villagers, having drunk a lot, knocked them over or fell on them.

The newlyweds have long since gone to their home. Just like many others. But some still continue to sit at the table in the dining hall, having drunken conversations.

The sun surrenders its rights to the moon, giving it a place in the already dark starry sky. A flame flares up from the kindling of the common place of the settlement. This means that it's time for the first dance of the bride and groom.

Maybe someone is expecting a gentle and slow dance. But it won't happen tonight.

Victoria and Walter stand in front of the bonfire facing each other. Flames are reflected in their eyes. The others form a ring around them, holding hands. Neo starts playing the lute. Carissa's flute joins the melody.

Victoria and Walter are slowly circling each other. Along with them, the movement of the ring of others begins. The first voices start the song.

The drums burst into the melody like thunder, giving it a new energy, the energy of fire - passionate, charming and wild. Victoria and Walter's movements mirror each other: sharp, confident, with folk elements. They're stamping their feet in unison with the heavy drumbeat. Hands mimic the movements of the flames of the bonfire, gusts of wind. The round dance explodes with a chorus of voices singing in unison a song about passionate and strong love. They whirl around the couple at a relentless pace, performing intricate footwork without breaking the chain. The simultaneous clap is accompanied by a spray of fire sparks rushing into the night sky. Another clap and the directions of the circle dance change. Walter's movements symbolize strength and passion, Victoria's - grace and tenderness.

The drums calm down, giving a break. The duet of lute and flute calms the rhythm, along with this the movement of the circle slows its pace. Victoria and Walter are circling each other again, this time holding hands. The ring of dancers pulses inward and outward, mimicking the breathing of nature itself.

Then the drums are picking up their rhythm again. And the whole dance is filled with energy with renewed vigor. The singing resumes, louder this time. The dancers of the circle raise their arms up. The clap.

Walter picks Victoria up in his arms and whirls with her. She raises her arms to the sky and then spreads them like wings.

Every villager has a bright smile on their face. There's a fire in their eyes that is not inferior in strength to the bonfire in the heart of the dance. Everyone feels this special energy of unity, connection with each other through this dance and this singing. It's a special feeling that words can never describe. It can be understood only after experiencing it. These are no longer separate elements. The circle, the couple, the bonfire is already a system that doesn't just follow the rhythm, but feels it with all its soul, lives by it, driven by the power of folk connection and unity with nature, each of its elements. By Sa'iri words, the common energy of this dance, this ritual, forms protection for the newlyweds from troubles and misfortunes.

After a while, the music and singing slowly fades away. After such a whirlwind of emotions and sounds, the silence seems deafening.

Evening is coming. The newlyweds return to the festive tables, dressed in festive, but simpler white outfits. The veil remains an invariable element of the bride's outfit. It has its important role in this day.

There are hot dishes, salads, snacks and bottles of the best wine on the tables. But for now, the best advice is not to get too drunk, because then there will be another ritual in which they all will have to actively move.

While waiting for the sun to completely disappear below the horizon, giving way to the moon, everyone can enjoy a meal.

After breakfast (or lunch), it's time for the daytime wedding ritual. This is a new tradition that new villagers have brought to Hidewood. It was a wedding tradition of their settlement. Or, more precisely, the tradition of the tribe where Sa'iri come from.

On the day of the wedding, two rituals were performed in Sa'iri's tribe: daytime and evening rituals. It's believed that during these two rituals, the newlyweds receive the blessing of the sun and moon.

Victoria and Walter gather at the common place of Hidewood. The rest gather there to witness the vows made by the newlyweds to Mother Nature.

Sa'iri hands one ribbon each to Walter and Victoria, then covers them with a thin white veil. The newlyweds begin to weave ribbons together, saying vows in native Sa'iri's language.

The vow of the Roots. The vow of faithfulness and the strength of marriage, of the intertwining of two families. May their bond remain unbreakable through all of life's challenges.

The vow of the Hearth. The vow of unconditional love and care. May the flame of their love burn bright for all their days.

The vow of the Spring. The vow of honesty and sincerity in their marriage. May their union be founded on honesty and truth, and may deception never find a home within it.

When Victoria and Walter finish intertwining the ribbons, Sa'iri escorts them to the sacred Hidewood Tree, a tree in which, as Sa'iri says, the great energy of nature is concentrated. There they tie their ribbon around its trunk.

After this ritual, it's time for a break so that the newlyweds can rest a little and change their clothes. The celebration will continue in the evening.

When everyone approaches the festive tables, Walter and Victoria stand at the head table.

Before everyone sits down, Jazz presents the newlyweds with freshly baked wedding bread – a tradition of Hidewood. Walter and Victoria divide the bread in half and then give each other a bite of their halves as a sign of equality in their new family.

Only after that, everyone sits down in their seats. The feast begins.
