FATHER

(Y)ou make the individual spirit, cumbered by the dire limitations of the body, born perhaps into the most adverse of circumstances, responsible in a few infinitesimally short years of earth-life for all that shall befall him throughout uncounted aeons of eternity and beyond the limits of all possible conception of space or time. Oh, little children, is God so unjust? . . (Y)ou call Him "Loving Father". . . (W)ould an earthly father say to his little child: "I leave you in this dim room one minute of time. If for this minute you are good you shall come with me and be happy always, but if you displease me, I will lock you in the dark cellar for all your life"? Unthinkable. . . A man acting so would be arrested as a maniac, - yet thus have you thought of God.
