So post act 2 savathûn and Xivu arath has gotten more dialogue in the nether.
Most of this is simply savathûn trying to convince Xivu to give up the sword logic and while it's all very interesting there is one conversation that I find most interesting
It goes like such
Savathûn: " I needed you off the board, little sister. I knew that you would hide and lick your wounds without your throne. It kept you from invading the traveler. It kept you away from the witness's failure. Now I can extend a hand in familial love. Now that you need protecting. I can protect you."
Xivu arath: "YOU REFUSED MY LOVE WHEN YOU GUIDED OUR HERETIC-SISTER TO HER THRONE. I REJECT YOU."
Now there is a lot to cover
Firstly savathûn's almost patronising words to Xivu, an older sibling unwilling to see a little sibling as an adult, just someone who needs protecting
And secondly Xivu's furious reply, rejecting savathûn love, the interesting part is what she claims as the reason for the rejection. "YOU REFUSED MY LOVE WHEN YOU GUIDED OUR HERETIC-SISTER TO HER THRONE."
She claims that savathûn helping Eris cut her from her throne world, and in the process, creating Eris's Throne world the high heresy, Is the reason for Xivu's rejection.
And did you notice what Xivu said "OUR HERETIC-SISTER" Xivu still thinks of Eris as a sister, a heretic sister but so is Savathûn and arguable Xivu herself is a heretic at this point, I was wondering about how Xivu's opinion on Eris had changed since Season of the witch and I am so happy that bungie mentioned it.
Also I absolutely love seeing the loving side of savathûn this episode
