This is the afterwords to chapter 246. 

This week's request is 솔이-nim's "Wasted Yuri and Evan pulling in the reigns", to the far right hehe. If Yuri got wasted, she would uproot the cherry tree, so instead of completely wasted I got her just pleasantly buzzed up ^^; Next week's request will go to the far left. Tell me your scenario or characters! 

Now that spring started and weather's gotten better, it's quite warm and relaxing. I can't help but feel the urge to go out and take a trip around or something, buuuuut work. 

This week... Urek has strong fingers. Since Urek is such a strong character I can't show everything off, but the Floor of Death Arc will feature a fight between High Rankers. And after that will be the little one’s adventures for a bit hehe. If High Rankers fight, it's a natural disaster level catastrophe, so they have a general rule not to fight each other if possible.

Karaka looks pretty pitiful here, but I just want to guys to know that Karaka's not that weak... yeah... 

This arc is structured "Bam's Secret", "The Change in Bam and Rachel's Relationship", "Hell Joe Fight et al." and "Aftermatch". So we're entering the third act of this arc. Since the first parts were so long I had to stretch some parts and compress other parts... It has pros and cons it seems ^^; Well, now it's "Hell Joe Fight et al" act, so I hope you guys look forward to it. 

Rachel and Baam join hands to Hell Joe's castle... a bit extreme you could say ^^;;

But since there's a lot of variables like Hockney's eyes, so this arc should have a lot to see. 

I’ve been publishing Tower of God for a while, and recently I've felt that for a very long time, I have done too little in the expansion of other [ToG] content.   If I do that I can reach you guys more, and I wish I’m not the only one managing all the content... I'm working hard but I keep facing hardships and difficulties with it It's been 7 years, but when I look at other works around me, I feel a bit empty.

Sometimes i love Baam, but he have his moments. I really hate when the mangas/animes show a really tough guy/girl who is considered really powerful and the protag said "idc im much weaker, i'll fight then" and thanks to the plot armor they manage to survive the encounter or even win. I really, i really start to hate this kind of mechanic.

And of course dear Bam he not see you an equal because even you're an irregular you still a kid who have protag privilege

I think it might have been said that Karaka was relatively new but I think I must have forgotten it. It’s just that Karaka seemed so confident that I believed that he could take Yuri. I guess he’s kind of weak. Obviously in relation to Yuri and Evan. He can probably blink at Bam’s group and kill them.

I also did not know that Evan was a high ranker. And since that means he is strong, it looks like I was incorrect. I had assumed up to this point that Yuri was super strong and Evan was just a really good guide but he was nowhere near her level. Since he’s a high ranker and from what I read that said he was in the top 100 characters I know I was wrong.

Yeon Hana

Ranking: 17 Position: Fisherman/Wave Controller Special Positions: Unknown 

The Family Head known to be the most beautiful among the 10 Family Heads. Although she is the Family Head of the Yeon Family, in fact there is not a single child in the Yeon Family who has received her blood. All children of the Yeon Family are the sons and daughters of "Ilarde (godmother)," who is an old fellow family member (권속, gwonsok; 眷屬) of Hana, and Yeon Hana herself is a virgin who has never embraced a man.

Although she is sometimes suspected to be a misandrist (men-hater) due to this reason, she actually has a gentle personality (which is very rare among the 10 Family Heads) that treats both men and women kindly. According to a rumor, she could not forget a man whom she broke up with a long time ago, and so made a contract with the Administrator (Guardian) to become a "Female that cannot feel love towards the opposite sex."

Although she has a gentle personality, according to the 10 Family Heads, she is "the most scary woman when angry." It is said that when angered once, she surpassed Ha Yurin, who was famous for having a terrible personality, but this is impossible to confirm in the current time in which the 10 Family Heads are not active in public.

Her fellow family member Ilarde gives birth to and raises her children in her stead, so the children of the Yeon Family all call her "godmother." Once every 5 years, Ilarde selects (선별, seonbyeol; "choose") a man to sleep with her, and it is said that Rankers from all over the Tower gather for a chance to become that man. Ilarde's eyes for choosing men are very "cold" so unless one is a decent male Ranker, it is difficult to even get past the paper document interview. Selected males live in the palace for 5 years, and only one of these men will receive the right to sleep with Ilarde, and if a child is born, they attain the glory of being accepted into the Family.

Like the Ha Family, the Yeon Family is a thoroughly matriarchal (mother-centered) family, so males can take central roles in neither the main house or the branch house of the Family. Thanks to this, the females of the Yeon Family, especially those of the main house, have a tendency to look down on men.
