Many exchristians come from high-demand ideologies where we were encouraged to offer ourselves as living sacrifices to Christianity. Breaking that habit is harder than it looks. Because changed ideology does not automatically result in changed behavior. I have seen so many exchristian accounts popping up lately, which is so exciting! Our community is growing and gaining new and passionate voices every day. But we all should take care of ourselves so we don't start sacrificing ourselves on a new altar.
