Men look dapper in custom suits. Most men would agree that they feel empowered
and confident when they wear custom fit suits. Custom suits or tailored made suits make men look and feel classy.
A Bespoke Suit is an essential part of a man's wardrobe and marks the transition from youth to adulthood. Hence, it becomes all the more important to discuss different styles and pattern variants available for tailored men's suits. A comprehensive style guide is definitely useful for the modern day gentleman to choose his very own custom suit look.
Three piece vs two piece suit
A three piece suit is a power dressing statement. A three piece suit can be converted
to two piece if you wear it without vest. For special occasions, you can go for
three piece suit but for casual or normal wear, two piece suit would serve the purpose.
Three button suit or two button suit
For taller men a three button suit would do well as their upper body will look well
proportioned. However, for a man with average or smaller height two button suit
would be the best fit if they want a higher V shaped jacket on their chest.
Notch lapel vs peak lapel vs shawl lapels
It all depends on how you want your tailored suit to look like. Notch lapel, also known as
steep lapel is the traditional suit style. It looks good on single breasted jackets &
is statistically the most preferred style.
Peak lapel or pointed lapel can be tried for both formal and party look. It will go well
with double breasted jackets and tuxedos.
Shawl lapel is a continuous lapel curve which will enhance that special evening wear look.
Classic fit vs Regular fit vs Slim fit
The classic fit is advised for gentlemen with larger body proportions or with gentlemen
who require to move their arms & upper body frequently in the nature of their job,
also generally older men who are not comfortable with tight body hugging attire.
The regular fit is self explanatory in the term as its advised for gentlemen who don't
want suits to be tight fitting neither too relaxed. Regular suits for executive work or
casual occasions. Usually gentlemen of average build in the age group of 35 - 50
would go for this fit.
The slim fit enhances & accentuates the physique of slim built gentlemen usually
of younger age in professions like the entertainment, sports & related industries.
