Almost done putting together this redeemed pharaoh #Darth-Tut for this month's sculpture exhibition @coprogallery in Santa Monica 1.21.2017. This original helmet has been sitting in my garage for several years and I just got inspired to do something with it. I created the vulture, cobra, and goatee out of sculpting material and had all the pieces copper and rhodium dipped. Then, I had my man double plate it in 24k gold just to go overboard. I still have an automotive paint treatment I'm applying that will define the blue lapis stripes across the helmet and details. This has been a real learning experience and a joy to create this transformation from the darkside into the enlightened god of redemption.
