My memory is renowed for how bad it is, so I have no idea what Kait is talking about. 🤣 I don't remember reading Steroline specifically, but I know I read some of your fics that were Klaroline but also had Steroline as a side dish, and I loved them just the same because: a) I wouldn't read Steroline from anyone else; b) you're the only person who could ever get me to enjoy a dash of Steroline in the first place. 🥺❤️

Why you should read it: I don’t know if I’ve ever stanned so hard for a fic, ever. I started reading hoppípolla when Hannah first uploaded it way back in like 2014. I fell out of TVD fandom for a while, and part of what prompted me to come back was the completion of this story, which ranks among my favorites-not just of Hannah’s but in TVD fic and in fic in general. 

Seriously, I go SO HARD for this fic. It’s incredible, and it’s got a little bit of everything: angst, drama, humor, Caroline & the Salvabros OT3 friendship, Klaus being hot and broody and hot, poetic and beautiful prose, and a little bit of a mystery. Whatever you’re yearning for, this fic HAS IT.

Possession is probably one of the best slow burn fics I've ever read. 5000 years of slow burn. That's my jam.

It’s a manufactured home. I don’t know if they’re a thing in Europe, but they’re really common where I live; 30ish years ago they were basically fancy trailers, but now standards and technology have improved so much that quality wise, it’s not really any different from a site-built home. My parents’ first home was stick built, and they have a manufactured home now from the same company we purchased from, and the manufactured home is actually of better quality in several areas. They’re built at a plant off-site and then transported in two separate pieces on trucks to your land, and assembled there. Instead of a normal foundation, you have several concrete runners on which the house is placed, and then a bunch of support is added underneath the house. 

The company we worked with is really flexible and allows a lot of customization. Basically, as long as your changes don’t compromise the structural integrity of the house, whatever you can afford you can do. They’ll knock down walls, add/take out rooms, etc. etc. We didn’t do a lot of tweaking, but we did add a walk-in pantry off the kitchen, raised one of the kitchen counter tops so we would have a nice breakfast area, and expanded the master bathroom by a foot so Mr. Jenn would have room to do a custom shower, plus a third window in the living room because we have a really great view. Some places just have several floor plans you can choose from, and then you pick the paint colors and flooring and that’s about all the say you get.
