Bloodfeather
A darling of fire and deceit
She brings cold winds but her eyes only a blazing heat
Fangs and claws, she's slain them all
A predator to the praying song, a burden to the forsaken
But a gift upon love's call
Shadowed in red She stands in snow, bled Heart punctured on a wrist; An offer to the love that calls her name A whisper in the dark, bleeding mist
It's only to love's name Does her wild eyes turn tame Mangled throats decorate the bouquet of thorns and roses, Ever engrossed, damned faith toward the proprosed And we watch hips and legs groan, killer instinct withstanding the urge to choke
Asphyxiated with the idea of love Rubies shatter from mosaics above A prayer once heard now falls upon deaf ears Silence overcomes every instinct and voice in hallowed halls In what could only end in blood, sweat and tears
The task of battle, overworn tattered shoes Life entangled within the grasp, of fate, a heart's coldest tomb An angel cried winter, lonesome had found its face And now bloodied and broken, wings torn and abrase Her heart's an all consuming hellfire, to which there is no escape
