@eraba-reta-unmei​​ / MIYA: Искорка / Iskorka, the cuter way of saying ‘sparkle.’ Miya is connected to fire, similarly to Victor. Her moral code is also very different compared to Zarina’s which seems like a light in the darkness. She is bright, she is always standing up, she is the light that’ll grow stronger with years.

@voiceofduality​​ / @hiidroculus​​ / THOMA: Огонёк / Ohonyok, the diminutive way of saying ‘fire’ (well, one of the ways). It’s strictly connected to Thoma’s Pyro Vision and his kind-hearted/warm nature.

@exrhlab​​ / SARIA: Алмазная (моя) / Almaznaya (moya), it’s a combination of ‘my [diamond]’; in this case the diamond is an adjective; it can mean many different things from priceless to gorgeous to strong. Zarina would call Saria this specifically to tease, it’s usuaully said with an adoring sarcasm for Operator’s strong will. We know how hard the diamond is and how sturdy it is, this is another reason why Zarina chooses specifically that one: Saria is stronger than many, both physically and mentally.

@dandilys​​ / JEAN: Милая / Milaya, it means ‘dear’ but also means ’adorable/sweet/darling.’ It’s specific to women in this writing. Jean is sweet, she is indeed sweet before Zarina’s eyes. Yes, she is strong, but this a cute way to call Jean because it’s more to embarrass and make the other blush or feel butterflies in her stomach when she’ll whisper that nickname into her ear.

@chaosarashi​​ / RIN: Сынок / Syinok and Облачко / Oblachko, the first one is simple enough as a cuter way of saying ‘son’ and the latter means ‘cloud.’ Rin sees himself as the storm and Zarina, instead, sees him as a cloud that allows itself to be carried by the wind. The “It is what it is” feeds into this nickname as well, but this diminutive way of calling Rin a cloud also underlines her affection for him as her son and how she sees him as a child, ready to give him a hug because she does see him as cute and precious just like a cloud in the sky.

                 fluster strikes her ,  hand hiding cheek as she leans away from the bard’s choral alignment of sonnet .   it’s a love ballad ,  yet as an audience member she can’t help but make it all about her .   pride strikes her down ,  earns a hue to cheeks when not elicited ,  unwelcome .   no one likes her ,  not like this or ever will ,  right ?   she’s far too gone down her frugal life ,  stumbling to make efforts worth a dime .                  so why would a simple songwright cast her way ?

                 her absence is hardly noticed by patrons as she slips away ,  hat drawn down over vision as she beelines for the door .   the tavern hadn’t been her favored space regardless ,  &&.  already the outside air called her to arms .   as soon as she’s outside ,  she slinks around the building’s side ,  back pressed to wood before she slumps ,  falls with knees to her chest .

                 barbatos be her guide ,  this is hopeless .   why did she even bother leaving her house today ?

The seeds float away, swaying in the gentle breeze. Some of them will find fertile soil and sprout new dandelions. They too will grow and give seeds in time, ready for someone else to pick up and blow their wishes into the winds. Just like that, the cycle becomes neverending. Most people forget ever muttering their heartfelt desires to a humble dandelion, but their existence reminds humans of the true meaning of hope. These ones, however, don't make it too far. The wind changes direction abruptly, and the seeds fly back to the yaksha's face, some of them into his eyes and mouth. And here goes the culprit, giggling as he jumps off the roof and lands gracefully on the handrail. "Don't you ever get tired of talking to yourself? Sounds boring, asking questions and have no one answer."

The Yaksha vocalizes a small groan and recoils as he is pelted by the very same seeds he intended to be gone with the wind. He tilts his head downwards and shakes his head slightly in an attempt to get them out of his hair, then wipes his eyes with the back of his wrist. When his vision returns, he looks up to see the giggling Anemo Archon appear before him.

"Hmph. It'll take a lot more than your equivalent of "pocket sand" to stop an adeptus in their tracks," the Yaksha says in a half-hearted attempt to downplay the bard's gag; though deep down he knows he had been 'gotten' pretty good. "If you want to pester man some more, the harbor is that way," he gestures to the bard. "But since you have come all this way just to seek me out, I doubt it can be helped so—what business do you have with me, bard?"

coryn dislikes the rain. when he first came to teyvat, the thought of being wet with clothes on was shocking! while he got used to the swimming portion of that, he still doesn’t like the rain. he’ll often just use his ( normal attack ) butterfly fists to dry himself off in situations like that.

yuki, on the other hand, enjoys the rain. while it might be the dendro vision making it easier for him to work with rain, it does soothe him to just sit under a tree as the rain falls.

The morning can be a hard time for many people, but Zarina finds today rather pleasant. Even if yesterday she allowed to dive into the deeper aspects of passion, her body aches pleasantly as she gets up, making sure to put on some clothes to not shock the other who's been both fortune and misfortunate to have her as his company yesterday. The fixer of Inazuma certainly is a handsome man, she agrees with it wholeheartedly but that kindness of his struck a nerve just a bit. It'd be a shame on her side, a hit to her pride, if he is not feeling alright as she prided herself in having her partner being satisfied and asking for more later on or have the best memories from the experience.

It surprises her to already hear the sounds coming from the kitchen. Haven't they started here? She can't remember exactly, the alcohol certainly played its role in the memorization of yesterday's evening. She remembers the majority of things, but not everyone. Thoma's inquiry brings a thoughtful hum from her as she stretches, not hiding away the sound escaping her after doing so. The sweet melody he's gotten to hear this night. With no shame does Sokolova approach him from behind, looking over the nice-smelling breakfast. How nice and kind of him, it makes her want to trap him between the counter and herself just to make him flush or give in to the passion once again.

"Three-fourths black and one-fourth of milk. One teaspoon of sugar if you have it. If not, it's fine either way, " she answers him quietly as she sits down on the chair to look at the "fixer". Specifically, study his back and wonder how many marks she's left on him yesterday. " How are you feeling? Not in too much pain, I hope? " Watch her grab a cracker and snack on it while checking on his physical state as of now. " Perhaps, up for another one? Or I can just take care of you as thanks for coffee and breakfast. " 

 It's a tease mostly, the proposal is said with quite a playful and mischievous expression as she Zarina continues to study his body language and his face in search for a response. She expects him to be busy if she's honest. Then again, tainting such a good man will take time and patience.

"Venti?" The Yaksha is caught off-guard by the bard's sudden approach out of nowhere, drawing attention to the mistletoe placed above. Xiao's initial reaction is that of bewilderment, not knowing the meaning of this tradition.

"What, what is this?" he scoffed, "Are you trying to will yourself the power of Dendro now? Pffft.... Why are you pouting your lips like that? Wait—why are you getting closer!? STO—"

Cue to the Yaksha and the bard taking a long awkward elevator ride at the Wangshu Inn.

"You will speak of this to no one."

                 bitterness stains her tongue ,     sour ,  rotten ,  &&.  gangrene as it toils around with words .   ei wants to find solace in this new inuzama ,  where she is respected on every level while her people are content with their ambitions still .   yet it is far more difficult for her to face her mistakes when they are staring her down face to face ,  the mondstadt native now prone to her culture gloating over his newfound freedom in the streets .   anger bubbles naturally ,  comes from a pride struck down by traveler’s blade .

                 euthymia begs for her to apologize ,  blisters with hot lightning flashes that trickle up her electro - crystal horns ,  only for the archon to ground herself with a grind of a heel  &&.  billow a soft breath from nostrils .   no ,  she won’t give in to old habits at the risk of causing more calamity for her country .   once hand nulls its spark ,  such is offered forward towards the hot pot champion ,  ei allowing eyes to finally open  &&.  peer into the being so triumphant for their new world .

                                ❛      mistakes are often made of mortals ,  but as it’s been made clear to me ,  it appears it is the gods’ turn to learn the err of their ways .   thus ,  though i am not .   ah ,  well versed in these sorts of mannerisms .   i acknowledge that i have wronged you .      ❜                  not quite an apology ,  nor recognizing where her fault lays ,  but it’s certainly a start for poor thoma .
