I have officially, most definitively, resume the Hiimmarcus project.

I work on the project (hopefully) every day from midnight to 1:00 A.M. (a reference to the Dark Hour from Persona 3. I had been delaying this project far too long, especially given the actual real-life necessities this comic is fulfilling.

If my life was a game - Idea in the Air

At times, I wonder on the hypothetical situation of my 'core' Internet life being a video game. (That would be a main range of 7.5 years, I think, plus a prologue including my Internet life before that. There shall also be an epilogue, too.)

In my head, my game would have the gameplay of Persona 4 while having a plot similar to the Kingdom Hearts, Sonichu and Danganronpa series combined. Similar to Kingdom Hearts, the player is frequently brought to experience abridged versions of various media while following an overarching plot. Similar to Sonichu, the game is about me trying to fight my problems. Similar to Danganronpa, the player would have me interact with a lot of people, but, eventually, anyone could be torn away from you forever.

The theme of the plot is 'executions,' albeit more related to Mituru's execution in Persona 3 than the executions in Danganronpa. In the entire game, the player goes around life attempting to avoid me getting 'executed,' that is, shunned by a non-enemy entity. While going through the game without being executed even once is a possibility, such a task is a Guide Dang It. I think there shall be a way that would allow the player to follow the actual events, since, after all, I am telling my story.

The main gameplay would be the Social Links, but there would be a lot of 'Vision Quests' (a loanword from Shin Megami Tensei: Hackers) in which the player participates into works of fiction that I had experienced (say, video games or comics, hence the Kingdom Hearts reference earlier). These 'Vision Quests' are essentially equivalent to the dungeons of the Persona series. Some are optional, but others are so relevant to the plot; playing them is mandatory. Gameplay is similar to the Vision Quests in Shin Megami Tensei: Hackers: the player is already equipped with a fixed, ready-to-battle team, complete with its own 'Support Character.' The Vision Quest usually ends after an epilogue after defeating the main boss of the Vision Quest.

Even so, the Social Links are the most important part. Given the number of people that you can meet in 7 years, there is no '1 person per Arcanum' rule; you get a lot per each of the 22 Arcana. Even so, the Arcana of the protagonist of the game (me) is 'The Hierophant.'

I sometimes like to imagine people actually doing stuff with my game, that is, Let's Plays, videos, and the like.

Change of plans

I said to chineseshell once that I was trying to do an entire comic series about pretty much all my Internet life until the 17th.

However, changes of schedule required me to rearrange my plans.

I no longer have any definite date for release.

Even so, I plan on "leaking" a few "goodies" here...

Right now, though, I wish to sleep.

Hiimmarcus comic

I started wok on my "Hiimmarcus" ("Hi, I'm Marcus!") comic.

"Hiimmarcus" would be a private comic made to chronicle my general prescence in the Internet in comic form.

From what you can conclude from the name, the comic will follow the general approach Hiimdaisy uses towards her comics.

The reasons why I am doing that comic are also private.

For this reason, no one can "opt out" of this comic. If someone/thing is relevant and necessary in the comic, someone/thing will be included. I have my reasons.

Even so, do not expect this comic to be published.

If this comic DOES get published, expect the real-life content to be cut out.

The comic may even be in script form.

Whatever happens, this comic is one I need to do.

I allow questions about the comic, but do not expect all of them to be answered.
