imagine that it is the first new year you spend with Loki. The two of you aren’t ones for mingling with the crowds, but you do think the fireworks are pretty, and want Loki to see it. So you find a good, generally quieter spot, and bring Loki there for a nighttime picnic.

It’s just the two of you, sitting side by side, chatting and holding hands. when the fireworks finally start, Loki looks at them in wonder, it being the first time he has ever seen them, and you smile seeing his reaction.

imagine telling Loki about an annoying incident that had once occurred to you, and him getting angry for you. you pat the back of his fist that was curled up in anger.

"There, there, Loki, I handled it well, after all!"

"That's not the issue! It makes me mad that they don't respect you, dearest!"

You give him a kiss on the cheek to calm him down, but also because you're happy he's angry for you. His anger visibly fizzles out.

"...The other side too," Loki murmurs.

"Hm?" You tilt your head, and Loki puts his other cheek closer to you. 

"Oh, of course!" You smile as you kiss his other cheek.
