What an unpredictable day for the weather! When I set out, the sun was bright and the clouds were fluffy wisps. However, it didn't take long for the rain to stop by and say hello.
By now, the constant chorus of frogs have turned to a few scattered croaks. I'll miss their noise, but for now it's a perfect ambience for reading by the pond.
The rain only visited me for some short minutes before letting up for the sun. Perfect, I still have more exploring to do!
The meadows of widowgrass and glacier lily were beautiful in the scattered sun. There was SO MUCH! I should come back sometime to make wreaths. Although... I might feel too bad about taking any from the bumblebees.
Alright, I'm tired. I think it's time to head back... oh!
I won't lie, this fella scared me bad! I have no clue where mama was, and I suppose I'm lucky that she didn't know where I was, either. This little one was friendly; she let me back away safely. Thank you for your visit, moose!
