going thru overture again and it's so hard not to believe Carlo isn't a listener and the alchemists were out to get him because of it
like between his mother Camille being a listener being experimented on, Markiona being the one to put her ergo in a puppet, Lea's message to Markiona saying this is "partial payment for my other apprentice", the white butterflies and the fact it went to Rosaura to lead her the the Rose estate, Carlo getting that invitation to the devil's pit plus in the basement of the estate having a secret tram line to the mines/devil's pit directly and used by alchemists
#text#lies of p#idc if its delusional to think it but there's so much info and lore there and i cant think of anything else#if the alchemist were luring carlo down there it had to be a huge reason bc other than his mom/the listener thing what else would they want#him for#like i wouldn't be surprised if the alchemist/markiona tried again to experiment w a listener#also another thing they don't outright say how he dies but that speaks louder bc it must've been so horrific and tragic on what they did#before overture came out i solely believe the petrification disease was the only cause that killed him but now w all of this in the dlc#i cant think of any other thing#honestly im just rambling but i keep thinking of the devil's pit and markionas lore and involvement of the geppetto family
