Ok so none of the characters know that when their God cooks or touches food it's enchanted with healing powers so himbo!god got injured and they're all panicking and himbo is just "I want apple" they're all like we'll get you to a doctor you can get an apple later and they keep saying I want apples so the begrudgingly give them one and bamboozled seeing them healing by just an apple, I got inspired by a Zelda comic I read
HIMBO!GOD WITH HEALING FOOD // Ft. Venti, Jean and Diluc
TW: mild blood and description of injury.
The poor acolytes, their worry is for naught when all himbo!god has to do is grab something to eat. We hope you enjoy~
-Vin & Lilith
The first reaction they had to seeing you injured is "Ah yes, pretty gold. The sign that this truly is our god". They've only heard stories and tales of it until then, Childe and Zhongli being the only who actually saw the gold blood when they had tried to kill you for being an 'imposter'. It took them a few minutes to realize that you are genuinely hurt. And not just a bruise or a small cut which you sported...most of the time, really.
Your ankle looked mangled. Swollen, bruised and turned just a bit too far to the right. You rubbed it, a pout on your face and tears brimming in your eyes despite the grin you sent to your current guardians.
Venti tried his best to look his usual cheerful self, but on the inside, he's screaming. You got hurt in front of his eyes, under his careful watch. The other Archons were going to kill him if they heard of it.
Diluc stayed quiet, an eyebrow twitching at your what he thought is a forced smile. He picked you up without hesitation, telling Venti to go ahead and make Barbara aware that they'll be coming in.
Jean was decomposed, lips quivering, tears in her eyes. She was supposed to be your best guard, together with the Dawn Winery owner, and yet she'd failed even such a simple task.
You smiled at them, pointing to the apple tree in your sight. "Just give me an apple, I'll be fine!"
Diluc scowled. "Barbara will heal you."
"An apple a day keeps the doctor away!"
Venti looked at you in confusion, his lips quirked as he tried not to cry. How cute that you're trying to reassure him, despite his sinful actions.
Diluc only sighed as the other two started to breakdown, your kicks in protest of being brought to Barbara made slightly agitated. His grip on your body became tighter as you tried to squirm out of it.
"Your grace..Please you have to see her" Jean spoke up.
"No! Just let me have the apple! No doctors!" You yelled, despite your swollen and mangled ankle, you still flailed around like a child in Diluc's arms.
"Your grace..!" They all yelled at once.
Your form fell out of Diluc's arm and onto the ground causing you to yelp.
The winds reacted strongly with Venti's current emotions, swaying the branches of the apple tree above you.
You heard a thump land right next you making you turn your head, an apple rolled down to your feet and your eyes seemed to shine at finally having one.
"Your grace, are you okay?" Diluc kneeled down next you and took ahold of your ankle, making sure no more damage occurred.
You ignored his words and shined the apple on your chest before taking a bite, a loud crunch was heard as you did so.
Your horrific ankle seemed to be magically healing as you snacked on the fruit, your bone twisting back to it's right position, your skin mending itsself and the bruises fading.
Diluc's eyes widened at the sight before darting them up to meet yours. You only stared back with the apple in your mouth with dim golden glow surrounding it.
Venti and Jean calmed down enough to witness what was happening and sighed in relief, they still worried over your state but at least your foot didn't look like it could shatter with one wrong move.
"What?" You tried to speak with the apple muffling your mouth, "What are you all staring at?"
The three of them relaxed their tensed up shoulders and Diluc lowered your ankle to the ground.
"Nothing your grace, shall we head back now?"
Bonus: After returning to Mondstadt and parting ways, Diluc froze up in the middle of the street. He'd touched you. He'd touched his God.
