it's not the same | luhan + himchan
Delicate fingers brush through blond locks as a pair of hazel hues focus through his camera, a particular group of students obliviously being aimed at for a new photo. Click! A small smile tugs the corners of Luhan's lips he pushes a small button on the polaroid camera and a new photo prints out of it, now presenting the scene he had just taken. The smiles of the students certainly show how these symbols of hope enjoy studying in the university. These will be the people who will make the world a better place; to bring everything to justice and create hope for those who are drowning in despair.
Luhan feels quite lucky to be studying with them in spite of the fact that he clearly does not deserve it which is why he's spending his free time alone at the quad, seated under the shade of a tree as he watches the students pass by without a single glance towards his way. He's used to having his existence hardly acknowledged anyway so he couldn't find it in himself to mind. As he places the photo neatly beside him where a collection of photos are settled, he brings his camera up again to take a few more photos.
However, as he brings it up, a familiar face emerges in the focus and out of instinct, Luhan immediately takes his picture.
Kim Himchan.
And just at that very second, memories begin to flood Luhan's mind as he slowly lowers his camera down. Oh no. This can't be right. Meeting someone who was a huge part of his past is a scenario Luhan wishes to never encounter and yet Kim Himchan is just right there, barely noticing his presence. As much as Luhan had enjoyed the times they had together, he knows better than to let the other male know that they're studying in the same university considering how the blond had managed to successfully distance himself from him years ago.
Unfortunately though, he finds himself staring right back at Himchan's eyes and Luhan knows that he has been acknowledged. Shit. The first thing that comes to the blond's mind is to immediately leave... but Himchan has already seen him and leaving would be rude. Instead, he begins to hope that the other male barely recognizes him as Luhan gives him an awkward smile and a hesitant wave.
