okay but here's another question! how do we want s11 to end?? bc wouldn't it be great if we had a scene similar to the start and the end of the pilot? maybe frank introduces the family in a voiceover again like in the pilot's first scene, only this time it includes franny and tami and fred and, of course, mickey. and maybe mickey takes the role of jimmy in the last pilot scene, making breakfast for them all as the camera fades out on the family, bigger and older but together still

oh my god i haven’t even thought about the ending but i think that’s a lovely idea :’) i’m such a sucker for a circular ending so i think it’d be really nice to do a callback to s1 like that and just have one final cemented gallagher family moment and if they were to do the frank voiceover again it would also give each character a nice little send off moment i think??????? great idea, friend!! i’m 100% on board!!!

re your last post: i recently watched season 8 and i think ian is definitely off his meds deliberately bc in one of the first episodes they have him go into a kitchen cabinet to get his meds in the morning, very deliberately showing him taking them, and then they have a bunch of shots of him going into that same cabinet in the morning throughout the rest of the season and taking out a cup for coffee but NOT his meds. watching it while knowing what would happen really stood out as a setup to me

ahh thank you this is very interesting, as I haven’t watched s8 in a while and have definitely never noticed this! I just remember the show being sort of vague as to whether he was taking them or not during season 8, like with Fiona asking him and him not giving her a straightforward answer, but it’s interesting that there was a visual clue like that
