30 day otome challenge - day 1
So the ever so lovely @melodramatic-butterfly said that I should do this challenge, and since her wishes are to be fulfilled, let’s do this!
1. What is the first otome game you ever played? Who is the first character you went for and how did you react?
I’m not 100% sure, but I think it was “Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side 1st Love” for the Nintendo DS. I played it when I was in high school and didn’t know anyone who had played it too until recently.
Iirc the first character I went for was Reiichi Himuro, the teacher, because I’m TRASH for student-teacher relationships in media (and he’s handsome). I loved the CGs and the story, the game is pretty well-written and full of beautiful graphics and animations. However, I think the first time I went for Himuro I failed terribly because you need a certain amount of points in some attributes and I didn’t know how it worked. Nowadays I think I can pull it off without looking at a guide because I’ve replayed it several times. Oh, and I remember that I tried to write a fic with Himuro because I was really hyped with him and at that time me and my friends spent way too much time writing fics in class XDDD
Random piece of info about me: since the first time I played, the song that plays during the Christmas party in the game has become the default tune in my brain for everything related to Christmas.
