@heliosmachina needs a visit
There was nothing strange about a dog walking through the hospital with a bouquet of flowers in his mouth. As a golden retriever, Azalea tentatively moved through the hospital’s halls, his longer than normal dog claws tapping against the floor with each step he took. He wasn’t sure if this was the best idea, but they wouldn’t let him visit because he wasn’t family.
Which he thought rude. Because some bonds were deeper than familial bonds, and this was something that the wolf was slowly learning. So he came up with a brilliant scheme: sneak his way in.
His nose crinkled as pollen irritated his senses. He really needed to sneeze, but he wasn’t entirely sure the sound dogs made when they sneezed. He was worried that the staff would discover his ruse, so he needed to hurry. His feet moved quicker as he sniffed the air, the flowers clogging his senses, and he was able to faintly smell his friend. Azalea glanced around and realized he was close as he saw a doctor leaving the room, and he brushed by the doctor with his terribly makeshift ‘SERVICE DOG’ sign.
He crept into the room and tried to see the figure laying in the bed. But he couldn’t. So to keep from risking his identify, he plopped onto his bum, wagged his tail, and barked through a mouthful of flowers. “Bork bork!”
