Gosauer Lacke (2020 July) by Patrick Vierthaler Via Flickr: Unlike the two nearby lakes, this one isn't really a lake nor a pond. We locals call it "the puddle", as its water level is dependent on rainfall. On some days, there may be no water here at all, while once every few years the whole area turns into one big paradise for reflection photography. This year is rather ordinary I'd say. It was nice to see how my photos (and gear) have improved technically compared to the last time I saw it like this in 2016. Fun-fact: most visitors - and lately also most Instagram tourists - don't really bother looking left or right while hiking from the first to the second lake and miss out on sceneries like this.
