okay i came up with it completely on accident and kinda as a joke but i kinda love hiori and reo as an unserious ship. i think they’d just make a fun (and aestethically pleasing) duo. they can bond over their shitty parents, they can be each other’s escape, they can be someone nice for each other…. i need y’all to see my vision. please.

here’s my thoughts on them 🫡 just for you guys

they’re really not a warranted ship, but do i care? not really, no 💀

while i encourage hiori and reo as a pairing here, i still actually think nagi has to have been in the picture. i don’t really think that they’d end up working as a pair if it weren’t for reo going through nagi in the universe this is happening in. because obviously no one (but especially hiori) would want nor need to be taken care of to the extent that nagi does/did, it’d make for a good teachable moment for reo, and also provide more ways to change and move on from him y’know. he can’t try and do the same thing(s) as he did with nagi again, just with someone else.

not necessarily that i think reo would immediately resort to treating everyone he’s closer with in the same way, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see those same behaviors bleeding into other relationships, y’know?

i think a relationship (of whatever kind) between the two of them could definitely inspire both overall personal growth, and potentially developing a new way of viewing football.

on a more fun note though. they’re both nice, they’ve both got shitty parents, they have the same blood type, they both have almost normal hair except for one minor part of it that throws the rest of the style off…. they have many things to bond over!
