Audio production tools revolutionize the way we create music, from sound design, foley and film scoring to MIDI, mics, DJ software and samplers.

Come learn about existing tools, and invent new ones, at our first-ever Hip-Hop Hacks: Music Production! Presented by Monthly Music Hackathon and #HipHopHacks at Long Island University's downtown Brooklyn production studios.

11:30 - Doors open 12:00 - Intro with Kenyatta Beasley and Tony Dofat of LIU Media Arts 1:00 - Snacks, Groups Form & Brainstorm 1:30 - Workshops Block I -- details below 3:00 - Snack Break 3:30 - Workshop Block II -- details below 6:00 - Concert of music and/or production tools that participants created during the hackathon
