MNL- HipHop Festival 2018 is Set on November.
The Philippines is known to have had the first hip-hop music scene in Asia. Since the 1980’s, Filipino Rap emerge as one of the musical forms that influenced and helped in shaping our nation. Pinoy Rap continues to make a mark as new artist and beats were introduced, independent producers and organizers teamed up to reinvent this music and make every event huge.
The Grandest MNL- HipHop Festival 2018 kick-started with a press and bloggers party last October 25, 2018 at the Hi MNL Event Club featuring upcoming local hip-hop greats like Pino G, Baysa, Kleb, Rich, Poor taste, DJ Ash Wednesday, and Ron Henley, who made a huge hit in the main stream media entitled Biglang Liko. He also launched his newest music video Pisi, featuring with Kleb which talks about failed relationships, doubts and how to overcome it.
ApoDrop Production spearheaded this event which aims to promote the rich culture and diversity of the country through this form of music. MNL- Hiphop Festival 2018 will star more than 30 artists to showcase their skills and talent in a bigger stage. The festival will also have booths and fun filled activities for everyone.
MNL- HipHop Festival 2018 is more than the new breeds but they will also perform 80’s and 90’s hip- hop hits which are considered as the golden age of Pinoy Hip Hop. They will pay tribute to the legends of Pinoy Rap Music and perform their own masterpieces.
