A bit very late but day 13's theme of @otherside-wanderer Buildtober 2025 :)
For the theme of day 13. Ancient, I have made a Roman style hippodrome!
I made this build a bit bigger than the others as I have been busier than I thought I would be this month and couldn't get builds for the other days done x) It is 326 blocks long.
There are parts that I would liked to have spent a bit more time on but I ran out of time as I only put aside this weekend to do it. Either way, I hope everyone likes it!
If anyone is interested, my primary reference was the illustration on the worldhistory.org for the Circus Maximus.
Thanks ~ Snail
A continuation of this motif inspired by me being annoyed at a motorsport article's headline. Another pair of brothers, a mortal and a demigod, golden wreath around a face erased by worship. Long shadows and how to live in it.
Saw an article about the birth of Luca's and Marta's daughter called 'an addition to Rossi's family' and it pissed me off, like come on, can you congratulate a man without making it about his brother (no shade at Vale here, I'm just annoyed at some journalists). So here I am, having an artistic bitch about it with a fake fresco
