22 and 44 for Mina?

“What does you character like in other people?/How easy or difficult is it for your character to say ‘I love you’? Can they say it without meaning it?”

Mina doesn’t typically like people, as you’ve seen so far with the first chapter lmao. But what she does like in other people is empathy. She likes when other people understand her and try to listen. She also likes when people are honest to her and don’t try to sugar coat things. Some foreshadowing here, but her and Anne will butt heads a bit later on because of these facts ;)

It’s REALLY hard for Mina to say, “I love you” to anyone. She won’t say it if she doesn’t mean it. Essentially the only people she would say it to at this point is her family. Before her capture, this was still the case, though she was more lenient. For example, she would tell her family that she loves them, and only to her friends if they said it first. She would never be the one to say it first.

OOOF I MISSED THIS ASK I’M SORRY BUT VERY IMPORTANT QUESTIONS FOR FLETCHER

“What is/was your character’s relationship with their mother like?/What is/was your character’s relationship with their father like?”

Okay so Fletcher is only half-goblin. What is his other half? He doesn’t know. No one knows but his mother. His mother is a goblin, and his dad isn’t in the picture. Once Fletcher was born, his mother and him immigrated to Accaros as to not let it be known that he is a halfling (considering halfling children are actively hunted down and killed, along with the parents). So Fletcher unfortunately did not know his dad. His mother, on the other hand, protected the HELL outta him. Even though no one else knew that he wasn’t a full goblin (because the other traits are so miniscule that they’re not noticeable), she kept a keen eye on him. Think of an overprotective mother, and that was her. Even though she was overprotective of Fletcher, he understood why once he was old enough and obeyed her wishes. So he was often held up in his room, but he enjoyed it because he could study, and his mother provided him with the resources. Up until he went with Apollo, he stayed with his mother. When confronted about him leaving the nest with this “stranger”, his mother was a little hesitant, but once she got to know Apollo better and knew that Apollo wouldn’t hurt Fletcher and would rather protect him, she let him be and fully accepted their relationship. Apollo to this day doesn’t know that he’s only a half goblin.

“What is/was your character’s relationship with their mother like?”

OHOHOOHOHOHOHOHOHO I am not kidding you, I was thinking about this relationship the ENTIRE time I was at work. Hopefully what I’m gonna infodump makes sense because I am sleep deprived at the moment

So his relationship with his mother was pretty good, despite what you would think (with his dad being an ASS). He actually got a lot of his personality from his mother, though she was more strict with her caring-ness. For example, she would be the “normal” leodin around others that she didn’t know very well, but around Apollo, she would be very nurturing. She was essentially the only thing keeping Apollo safe from the other leodins (she was VERY protective of her baby) and keeping him sane. She constantly tried to get Apollo’s dad to see that him being “soft” wasn’t a weakness, but he wouldn’t have it. Unfortunately, she died from an illness she had been battling. She died in Apollo’s arms, and it completely tore him to SHREDS. He loved his mom more than anything, considering she was the only other leodin that truly understood him. Thinking about it now, that’s probably what drew him into Fletcher; Fletch often gives him the nurturing attention that he got from his mom.

So all in all, their relationship was amazing before her death. She was his only friend, and he provided her with the fulfillment of being a mother. Why must it be so sad? CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.

I was just randomly spacing out and thought about drexels and I thought about how I could NOT be a drexel on the account that I would end up royally messing my wings up whenever I sleep. I move around so much in my sleep that I would break/dislocate my wings every night. That is why my persona in Hiraeth is a goblin. Shiny rocks are my deal. Ngl wings would be so cool to have, but so inconvenient for me.
