#Repost • @colvinology Double Fluff, a Berliner-style weisse ale from Southern Prohibition Brewing (@soprobrewco) with marshmallow, apricot, blueberry, honey granola, cinnamon, and lactose, and the Hi Resolution Wing Gundam . We finally have a beer with detectable blueberry on the nose! It blends in extremely well with aromas of sweet apricot, cinnamon graham crackers, and a marshmallowy scent that mostly smells like Cool Whip. The sip actually caught me off guard here. There's a spectacular blueberry and apricot flavor, sporting a light sweetness and a very welcome punch of tartness. there's a hearty honey-cinnamon mixture that's very reminiscent of pie crust, amd that Marshmallow Fluffy Cool Whip flavor is present throughout, though the brew remains mercifully balanced and not overly sweet. I shouldn't be surprised, as SoPro is one of those breweries that never disappoints, but this is a tart, sweet, and relatively complex take on a fruity sour, and I honestly can't get enough of these. If you're sick of them though, I promise I'll do an IPA or a stout next week 😂.
