Tadashi walked upstairs to the loft and took his jacket off hanging it on the hook at the top of the stairs. He smiled and looked around for his brother. "Hiro I'm back. Where are-" He stopped suddenly when he saw the familiar child sitting on the floor.
At first the toddler was too busy fiddling with his sippy cup to notice his older brother come into the room. It took a few seconds for the older boy’s voice to register and when it did Hiro simply let out a confused coo.
The child looked up and at seeing his much bigger older brother he let out a laugh and attempted to stand on his two feet, almost immediately falling down. He frowned as he looked up at Tadashi.
Nii-tan walked on two legs so why couldn’t he?
Hiro quickly forgot the question in favor of holding his hands out while babbling in his baby speech, a huge grin taking over his small face. He wanted to be picked up. Nii-tan had been gone for so long.
Hiro didn’t like it when Tadashi left. It used to be that Nii-tan had to do everything for him. He played with Hiro. He fed Hiro. He took care of Hiro.
But now he was never around and Hiro didn’t like it.
Auntie Cass was nice but she wasn’t Dashi nii-tan.
