September 10 – 21 | Delve into the fascinating tradition of Mokuhanga (water-based Japanese woodblock printmaking) by participating in an intensive workshop at Anderson Ranch Arts Center. This workshop, taught by Hiroki Morinoue, will allow you to find creative ways to merge processes and create a complex, multilayered image. Students compose, and then recompose printed images into a narrative format, coming away from the course with a new understanding of this ancient art.
