Babirusas are members of the pig family native to the Philippines. Also called deer pigs, their upper incisors actually grow upwards through the flesh of their nose, emerging from the top of their snout. They grow throughout the creature’s life, and without daily activity to wear them down they can actually curve all the way around and pierce the skull of the animal, which is pretty badass.
Most of his tattoos are too small to read right now, but they’re my favorite part. The big tattoo on his left arm says, “Explicit Carrots” and has one carrot pinching the other’s nipple. Also present on that arm is a taco, a beer can, a “no bananas” sign, and “Dr. Teeth” written in script. His right arm has a map of the Philippines, a beer bottle, and a banner that says, “100% Babi, Baby!”. His chest has an avocado surrounded by a banner that says, “Only guac can judge me.”
