A cloak had covered coldly steed and knight, And flowed from shoulders broad more quickly than This cavalier's own cape of woolen white. Its stinging folds and frigid tassles ran Across the stalwart forms of horse and man. Stumbling as muddy hem 'tween hooves is raveled, Beneath this cloak of storm and gale they travelled
