to add onto the last post, her father had male, brown french pointers when she was younger and gérard got them two dogs for christmas one year. two female brittany spaniels, one black & white and the other white and brown. she named them both before he named them something stupid which is why they are odile & odette, respectively.
#HEADCANON.#he also said well alright choose one to focus on and ill take the other one#and she immediately grabbed the darker one and he was like SIGHS dammit.#his masculinity....#they both ended up being her's anyway cuz while he was home more often he would go away for weeks at a time#while she was in a more consistant schedule on coming home after all her ballet work#she also was in the process of potentially retiring b/c of her military wife situation + he wanted a family (complicated)#so she got a bit more time with them than he did#sorry man
