A few stray thoughts on what is happening in Hisman 4:
I love a mess, sue me! Minseong came to play and I'm quite certain production advised him to pick Taichi and Hyeongjun because that scene with Jaeha and Hangyeol begging the gods only to be denied was golden.
That said the triple date was a beautiful disaster with Minseong being a bore. But good thing Hyengjun enjoys being mean because he started to have fun making Minseong miserable lol
The fact that most of them are returning players only adds to the messiness, it feels like solving a puzzle at times, with certain connections appearing later and tidbits shedding light in some dynamics. Hyunjun and Sunwook for example, the whole date card thing was a carry over and super cute.
Taichi is adorable and all, but I need him to pick up the pace, feels like he is the one doing the least, while Hangyeol is all over the place and constantly interacting with the rest of the boys.
The whole mess with Jaeha and Hyeongjun... what exactly did Jaeha expected? He breaks up with Hyeongjun, goes to a dating show, and only decided to reconcile because Hyeongjun himself showed up, which is something Jaeha even says he was not expecting. Fuckboy is delusional, I would never forgive him.
That said, Hyeongjun could easily bond Minseong, if anything he is looking better than ever. And I want to see Jaeha suffer!
Rooting for Taichi and Hangyel, not only they are light and fluffy with eo it's like watching a real-life idol romance unfolding on television!
This season is really messy but in the best way, I'm genuinely invested in most of the drama happening and all the boys are nice to follow — a vast improvement from the previous season, which I dropped because it was so depressing to watch.
