Las Fotos Project Crowdfunding Campaign Now Live on Crowdismo

Eric Ibarra, the genius behind Las Fotos Project, is the latest project creator to launch his crowdfunding campaign on Crowdismo. Las Fotos Project is a nonprofit, community-based, arts mentorship program that serves Latina youth, ages 11-17, in the East Los Angeles neighborhood of Boyle Heights. Through photography projects and creative writing workshops, Las Fotos Project educates and engages participants to become leaders in their community by documenting and sharing unique stories. The Campaign Las Fotos Project is proud to launch its first Crowdisimo campaign to help raise $5,000 for its summer and fall programs. This past year, its programs grew from serving 25 girls per semester to 60 girls per semester. With a 100% success rate, Las Fotos Project's goal is to raise funds to purchase more cameras in order to serve 80 girls in the coming year.

We are beyond excited to support this effort. The Las Fotos Project campaign is a fusion between cultura, education, social impact, technology, and entrepreneurship! Las Fotos Project is the real deal and we're delighted to be along for the journey.

We've Joined Forces with the Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce

We're happy to announce the launch of an exciting strategic partnership with the Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce to further our mission of fueling innovation, creativity, social impact and entrepreneurship within the Latino community.

This new partnership with the Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce extends our reach as a viable solution in capital formation via the collaborative web. We are excited to see this partnership produce tangible results in breaking the access to capital barrier among the fastest growing entrepreneurial segment in the country.

Crowdismo is committed to providing a solution for accelerating ideas throughout the U.S. Hispanic market by offering a market validation vehicle and resource for capital fuel. RecCheck, a mobile application being developed by Draper University graduate Kevin Hernandez, allows users to easily set up pick up games with their friends and other players around them and is the first campaign to be supported by the Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce.
