Gracey knew well how the doorways in the Manor worked. Rarely did they lead where expected, and when you were expecting unexpected you may very well be presented with a guest bedroom. Best to expect nothing, for that was when you could find anything.
He needed time away. Away from the chaos and noise of the Manor. Entering a randomly chosen doorway was the easiest manner by which to do so.
The location he found himself in was certainly not one which he had seen before. It seemed interesting enough and far more quiet, so he ventured further along the path. A town, then ? Named after a holiday ? How curious. .

The ghosts were whispering once they sensed a new presence in the graveyard. Someone like them, but clearly so very different. In the midst of the hubbub, two slipped away, journeying into the town to find a tall skeleton in the midst of examining the state of decay on one of the houses (was it past the stage of being aesthetically pleasing and need repairs, or could it hold a little longer?). In whispers that were nearly breathless, they conveyed their findings to him before disappearing into the wind.
The skeleton only needed a moment to make his decision before pulling out a small notebook. A reminder to finish this task was jotted into it as he began the walk to the gates. As the well-dressed stranger approached the crooked gates, he might be confused to discover a dapper, tall skeleton approaching with a hint of a smile.
"Ah. Forgive me for my abruptness, but I must admit my surprise at seeing you. Your arrival has sent the local ghosts into a tizzy, and at a glance I can't quite imagine why!" There was an energy of something ghostly to the stranger, but it was clear that he was still human to some extent. "Then again... I feel like I've seen you before somewhere. You haven't frequented our humble town before, have you? No, that wouldn't be it... I remember everyone that visits. No, I've seen you somewhere else - ah! Of course!" The skeleton's ramblings were cut off abruptly as an idea struck him. "Why don't you simply tell me how you got here? That ought to help solve the mystery!"
