disregarding the ending in relation to SR4, what choice did Rosie make at the end of SR3? did she go after Killbane with Angel or after Shaundi and Viola? How did she feel about the decision during and afterward?

Save Shaundi, 100%. You can regroup and hunt down your enemies later. You can’t bring back your friends.

After all of it was over she let Angel go, with a blessing and the Three Count and a briefcase full of money. Killbane was always his score to settle anyway. The money would take him as far as wherever Killbane had gone, plus a little nest egg for after the bastard was dead.

Rosie’d gotten awfully fond of Viola, though. Hard not to respect a woman who’d made it that far in the underworld. She and Oleg were the two from Steelport that Rosie kept in her inner circle - Viola to manage the finances of the Saints’ corporate enterprise, Oleg as intelligence officer and her personal bodyguard.

[Well, that last part didn’t come until later, of course. They had to stop looking daggers at each other first.]
