OOC: As far as Steph and I have discussed, as soon as it’s possible, we want to move in together in Brooklyn or Queens and finally stop being a long distance relationship, so that we can push to the next level. We’re in this for the long term, so once we’re living together, we can finally begin that wonderful journey.
And oh goodness gracious! Any in a particular subject matter like art, music, relationships, etc? This is so hard…it’s like when people ask you random facts about yourself and suddenly you blank on your entire life history. OKAY let’s try:
He broke his left hand in a fight when he was eight and was so terrified of not being able to draw anymore that he taught himself to write and draw with his right hand, though he’s not as efficient with it. His left hand still hurts when he draws for extended periods of time, but he doesn’t let it stop him.
Grantaire has only had one other relationship in his past, but it was an unhealthy and very one sided one, and this added to his jaded perceptions of love and romance. It’s also why he is so determined to prove to Enjolras that he loves him—he knows what it’s like to crave that kind of reassurance.
He’s a major fan of most pop-punk/alternative bands from Green Day, to The Killers, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, and Blink 182. However, when he draws, he tends toward a more ‘coffee house’ feel, like Regina Spektor and Dave Matthews.
He hates white wine with a passion.
As much as it turns his stomach, he has tried some vegan food for Enjolras.
