Bara Kaman in Bijapur, Karnataka - an unfinished mausoleum (built in 1672AD) Adil Shahi dynasty's popular emperor Ali Adil Shah conceived the idea of Bara Kaman. It was supposed to be an architectural marvel surrounding his own tomb, with 12 arches placed both vertically and horizontally.
