So I love swords and medieval weapons, and collect them. I have a Dao, a Norse style bearded axe, a recreation of the Cawood Sword, and a German style longsword! Love these things so much!

How many of you out there train with historical weapons? . . There’s nothing like snow falling through the night and waking up to the ferns and conifers dusted with white. Upon first light, I threw on my garb and went straight outside to play with my bow! . . I have always been drawn to archery and sword fighting. I haven’t had much time for either the last few months, but now that I finally got these beautiful custom made historical arrows from @hononegaharchery, I am so excited to be shooting again! {More detail photos to come}. . . I find archery so therapeutic and strengthening in many ways. Grounding and confidence boosting as well. And especially in garb. I can’t wait to build the rest of my kit! . . My new Hooded Capelet proved to be a prefect accessory while shooting. The opening in the front allows for ample arm mobility and the oversized hood blocked my eyes from the snow flurries and peeking sun. I’m wearing my Capelet here in Coal Black wool with my favorite winter dress in the Fern Green wool.
