~Headcanons~

(Despite being aro, Hitomi quite enjoys the idea of romance not a whole. Just because she doesn’t like it for her doesn’t mean she can’t find some enjoyment romance novels or love songs.

She’s also a big monster lover, so she’s especially drawn to those novels focused on human-monster romances. Even if it takes her a long time to get through them, because she gets distracted with thoughts about the monster’s anatomy.

Not...not like that, like their actual anatomy. She’ll bust out a notebook in the middle of reading and try to make sense of the specifics behind a werewolf’s transformation and how their body is affected in the process. Or how a vampire’s body functions, and how the bloodsucking element works.

Needless to say, she’s not a fan of a particular series regarding vampires because a lot of the logic regarding their anatomy makes no sense and was clearly added to further push the romanticization of the vampires in the stories. Which isn’t a bad thing by default, but it’d be nice if some logic was taken into account when writing them!)

Name: Hitomi Yoshihara

Age: 16

Talent: Ultimate Surgeon

Bio: Hitomi is a eccentric, slightly-oblivious and cheerful young doctor-to-be. While she is probably one of the best medical professionals to come out of Hope’s Peak, and she does take her talent and ability to help others very seriously, she does tend to have a bit of a sadistic side. 

Finding enthusiasm in things most others would find morbid and horrifying, such as surgery itself. She may be overheard cracking a joke over a cracked leg bone, or infodumping about the functions of the human body while situated over an open body. Once she may have even been overheard singing opera while operating on a poor patient without anesthesia, but that’s only a rumor. Probably. They were fine, don’t worry about it.

But all in all, she’s not without her standards in the field of medicine and surgery. And she’s actually fairly pleasant to hold a conversation with, when she’s not going into way too much detail about what would happen if every bone in a human’s body was broken at the same time. Spoiler alert, they would die!

Additional Info: Her biggest desire is to one day perform some sort of surgery on a godly, paranormal or supernatural being that can have surgery performed on them. Or at the very least, possessing one of their limbs. Not in a weird way, just to study for science!
