this is so silly to me
someone i found out about when i was 5? 6? and have admired since i was about 9(?) is just a mutual? someone who i finally befriended at 12, virtually connected by isolation and online loneliness, is just a mutual? someone i used to exchange handwritten letters with, filled with inside jokes and plotting the mental trauma of characters we made up? someone who has inspired me to become a better person, to write better, to be funny always, is just a mutual?
how silly of tumblr to to take one of my oldest, best friends and call them simply my "mutual"
