Something I wanna ask about the v8 lore:

So you and @carl-summers are both Eye-defenders/j and also both don't think too highly of North Shore Research. Which I find a little strange since North Shore Research is basically a hub for Eye cultists.

What exactly did North Shore Research do to deserve hatred?

but uhm to answer your question:

first of all, there are other hubs for the Eye other than North Shore. Dunnington Construction and The Dunnington Center of Research seems to be rather populated with them too. The Louisiana government also seems to have quite a few cultists in it too from what we've seen.

second, do you remember that in sinkhole it was established that there's a sect of the cult that wants to harvest the Eye's power for personal gain? The Masters of the Eye? Well, it's my personal belief that towards the end of its life, North Shore Research became a hub for these types. At the very least, Dr. David Brumfield (ugh) definitely was going down that pipeline. His and the company in general's treatment of Prophet feels pretty indicative of that shift. Prophet was pretty similarly exploited for what he could offer to the researchers and then after the company went under was left behind to rot.

third of all, what I said about Prophet repeated as a separate part as well because that in particular hits really close to home for us (system). let's just say we know what it's like to be exploited.

hello! uhm.. sorry for the random ask, but we saw you doing therian HRT comics, and we've been interested in starting a comic for ourselves for a while now. but it seems like everyone's all connected in this shared universe or something and I wouldn't want to write anything incorrect or get in the way of the shared universe or anything... is there some kind of... way to learn things and get started? Honestly? While a lot of AHRT stories are interconnected with one another, not everyone in the space knows each other and I'm sure there are already discrepancies between stories!

@nyxisart made a timeline image some time ago that you can work off of (though again, it by no means has everyone included)

And @ariathelamia made a spreadsheet some time ago I think, though I don't know if she ever shared it outside of discord-

But there's basically no real rules when it comes to Animal HRT, at least from how I view it. You can join in on the interconnected web if you want, or you can make your story more standalone!

heyyyy i have a question- how many crimes do we know the cult had committed / just any crimes that could fit under the eye and its influence idk if im explaining this right

I wonder what any possible feds that might be watching our search history must think of us searching for just "list of crimes in the US" /silly

I feel like so many companies and even government officials being involved in the Eye has to violate some sort of antitrust laws, to start

I know we have no proof but. C'mon, the Eye has ABSOLUTELY orchestrated at least one assassination before. Like it just makes sense for them.

Arguably one could say that possession counts as a type of identity theft, but looking up "does possession count as identity theft" didn't come up with anything, so we'll just leave that one on the table for now

Attempted murder is a given. I mean, they've definitely succeeded at killing people more often than not, but there's definitely a few that got away, right?

Armed robbery & arson are two more we have no basis for but, like, I could see it happening

Assault with a deadly weapon feels like another given assumption.

Embezzlement is another for the list of "we haven't seen it but there's a high likelihood it happened"

And yeah uhhhh that's what I have to offer. This is just from some random fuckass list of federal crimes - I am not an expert in law in any sense of the word, nor am I Paul. So take this list with a couple good pinches of salt here, kay?

To make up for my last ask, I wanted to ask you something more lighthearted.

Do you have a list of silly Prophet headcanons? (Eg: Favorite music, an embarrassing but silly thing he did while on the Internet, that sort of thing) Prophet deserves to be silly!

AWW don't feel bad about your last ask!! I liked answering it, even if it was a bit heavy

But yes I very much agree that Prophet deserves to be silly so here are some silly HCs

1. Prophet will INSIST that he doesn't care for music and that the only sound that matters to him is the sound of The Eye, but this isn't exactly true. I like to think he gained a guilty enjoyment for electronic types of music after escaping from North Shore. Even guilter of a pleasure, though - vocaloid >:). I think that Prophet would find the idea of vocal synthesisers to be an intriguing one :p Also not to get shippy on main (/j I absolutely get shippy on main who are we kidding here) but I also think Prophet would have a soft spot for 70s & 80s rock/metal music as it would remind him of Landon 🥹

2. On that note, I think that after Prophet got onto the Internet, that he would end up consuming quite a lot of media in general, and I definitely think he would gravitate to media with the "Evil/Rogue AI" trope in them because of himself identifying with the trope and all. He wants to be AM so bad /silly

3. Definitely the type to make throwaway accounts on social media just to troll people. Little shit that I love <3

4. He loves bugs. Mosquitoes included #reclaiming
