With the right connections I will become Mister Sinister in #deadpool3 . Hi #ryanreynolds #hiyukio #mistersinister
Come and listen to my rantings on #Deadpool2! . <MINOR SPOILERS> . The pop-culture references are back with a vengeance. So much so, that it's going to date this movie pretty badly, but then again, it's #Deadpool. I doubt he cares. Come to think of it, because of the mask, you could probably just have Ryan Reynolds do a voice-over every few years with updated references...? Nah. Anyway, Deadpool 2 has it all. From the most badass fight scenes, to the most poignant moments, to the funniest jokes. Youll love every moment of this film while simultaneously cringing at some of the (sorry Pool) worst CGI I've seen in any modern superhero flick. #Colossus and a prominently featured "mystery character" look worse than your average video game cutscene. Even Wade growing back... um, certain body parts... doesn't look nearly as convincing as the first film. That being said, there's still a TON to love about this movie. I love the introduction of #Cable. I think the 'serious meets silly' dynamic that they share in the comics is translated well to the screen, thanks in no small part to the acting of #JoshBrolin and #RyanReynolds. Though I wish they had more time to expand on that but I guess they gotta leave something for Deadpool 3. The same goes for #Domino, who I ended up liking more than expected. Her condescending sarcasm toward Wade was how I always imagined; and her powers actually translate better on screen than they do in the comics, oddly enough. The rest of X-Force... I can live without. Except for Vanisher and Peter, of course. I wish Vanisher had gotten more screen time, and Peter deserves his own stand-alone movie. And let's not forget Negasonic Teenage Warhead. She's back with a new haircut, a boss bitch attitude and an adorable girlfriend. #HiYukio And don't forget to stick around for the best post-credits scene yet (at least for Deadpool fans). TLDR: Other than some shoddy CGI, a few under-developed (but lovable) characters and some re-used (albeit still hilarious) jokes from the first film, Deadpool 2 is still a badass emotional roller coaster that's well worth the ticket price. In fact, I think I might go see it again tonight. Who's in? 😊
