to claim those words conjured a flustering image in his mind would be quite the understatement; and curse his porcelain complexion, giving him away so easily. a rosy hue blotches pale cheeks & an awkward ( but legitimately amused ) laugh escapes pinkish tiers, the young man shaking his head at his friend’s claim — not in any sense of denial, but out of a more congenital response.
