When she saw these two worlds collide in the world of makeup artistry she was instantly hooked! “In college I studied fashion and I had to do a project on a fashion designer of my choosing. I asked my professor if I could do it on a makeup artist who worked in fashion (Kevyn Aucoin) and she said ‘sure, why not?’. When I learned about his career, especially the part where he worked on fashion shows and campaigns – I was in awe! It definitely was a light bulb moment for me. Until then, it never dawned on me that I could have a career as a makeup artist specifically in fashion.” Fast forward 19 years later, and that love grew into some amazing work experiences! She loves that it is something different every day and that her artistry affords her opportunities to work on different creative teams with amazing people.
