I am Hanan, Ali Ayyad’s wife and a mother of two children from Gaza.
I write these words with a heart full of fear for my children. Today, we are living through extremely difficult circumstances after the war destroyed our home and took away our source of income. Every day, we struggle to provide the basic needs for our family.
My husband Ali used to work in a clothing store, and I worked as an office manager at a company. But the war took everything from us. Today, we are without a home and without income. All we want is to protect our children and provide them with the care and necessities they deserve.
Our baby Karam is 6 months old and needs milk and diapers every day. Joud is 3 years old and has spent his childhood surrounded by fear and displacement instead of the safety and happiness every child deserves.
We ask kind-hearted people to stand with us and help us provide milk, diapers, food, and water. Any support, no matter how small, can help ease our suffering and give our children a chance to survive with dignity.
