Some bachelors and bachelorettes I chose when I played Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons games ❤️

I forgot to post this here months ago!! Like I posted this to my Instagram account months ago, but never posted it here, until now!

I’m not gonna rewrite what I wrote on Instagram to here because I’m on mobile, but this started out as a mermay thing and evolved into me drawing all the people I married in those games!

🧢 In the top left is Gray, who’s a bit shy 💕 He was my first husband of the games when I played the games for the first time in More Friends of Mineral Town (which my grandpa got me when I was a kid ☺️) and my most recent when I played Story of Seasons FoMt ❤️ He obviously holds a special place in my heart ❤️

🧜‍♀️ On the bottom right is Leia, who I chose in HM DS. If I remember she took a lot of work to marry but it was totally worth it, though I probably lost that file due to using in game hacks 😭 And she had to live out in my duck pond, my poor girl 😭 I wish she lived in like a river or something so she had more room!

🩺 On the bottom left is Hiro, who I married in ToTT. I don’t know why I chose to marry him like I don’t remember, but I don’t think I did him (or Leia) justice when I drew them, I’m sorry if they’re your faves 😭

🔮 On top right we have the Oracle, who I also married in ToTT (I had two separate files in this game because there were two towns to be a part of, so yeah 😃). I feel like her requirements were also a lot, but also worth it! And she’s so detailed I loved drawing her (even though I’m lazy with deets). And she loves fluffy stuff I think 💖

Lol I feel like I might have written the same stuff and them some 😅

Also this was me testing different outlines and stuff and giving each of them different poses. Also I wanted to do alt colors for Gray and the Oracle, but I didn’t do that lol. I had other notes when I first posted this but I forgot them 🥲 though I will say, I love how Gray (except for like his hands) and the Oracle came out!

I also noted that (once I feel like drawing again) I wanted to draw the Stardew bachelors and bachelorettes that I married too! ✨

Hello yes I’m still alive, just playing 7 year old games I forgot to finish in 2011 and living my best harvest moon life. For how much I love these games I never actually got married and had a baby since HM64 😂

Nothing like getting back into a game and starting it with someone knocking on the door and coming in without me knowing who it is and then it’s the future mother-in-law bringing back a hen and the chick she acts she gave birth to lol

I think I’ll end up with Ash but damn do I love Hiro! Ash is going to have to propose to me tho since that’s a thing in this game!

And luckily I caught Cheryl’s birthday!!! I LOVE HER!

I used to be her, lol, the kid sister jealous of women my older brother was dating…!

Let’s go through them:

Celia [married many times over in AWL:se]

Lumina [married once in AWL:se]

Cliff [married in FoMT*, will marry in DS:cute]

Luke [married in ToT]

Wizard [married in AP]

Candace/Kathy [would marry in male playthrough]

Ash/Hiro [Ash is pink flowers and Hiro is yellow]

{ttott bachelorettes are perfect so could never choose}}

Yuri [promise ring level in first playthrough]

Tina [part of why I stopped playing my first ANB save cuz I had given Yuri promise ring but then second guessed and felt badly about it lol]

Allen [I hate that I love him, did not mean to like him at all in second play file but it seems he’s the guy for my lady playthrough in ANB]

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town I have not yet played and I am thinking I might go for Cliff to have married him in three different games but in reality I’ll probably swoon over Mary or Ann or one of the other bachelorettes... they’re so good!

So... yeah, what do my cottagecore spousal preferences say about me?

*I had gone through all the heart events with Gray in my original FoMT playthrough but I did not know paying Gotz was not enough so he stopped letting me hire him before I could do the last house upgrade I needed or something to get married and year 4 with rival Mary came and I just stopped that file and deleted it.
