Two former farmers who preferred to build machinery rather than battle drought, have taken out the Best Australian Manufactured Machine of the Year at Henty Machinery Field Days. Dallas and Kaidan Boyd (pictured with their award) from West Wyalong built a shed on their farm earlier this year, called themselves Clear Ridge Fabrication, and started building seed and fertiliser bins that allow full segregation on the various inputs that farmers use at sowing time each year. They have already sold a few and say the beauty of the unit is that it can be mounted on one truck rather than using two or three which is what they used to do. #hentyfielddays #hmfd2019 #henty #machinery (at Henty Machinery Field Days) https://www.instagram.com/p/B2lIdwjFT9J/?igshid=o3zsqi1aieu0
