those words softly left her lips as she caught a sight of her friend sprawled on the ground, a knife pushed onto his torso and blood slowly covering the white fabric that he’s wearing. the fact that it was halloween slipped off her mind and the sigh of him just looking so… dead made her really think that an accident occurred and that’s the cause of his bleeding.
she was never good with blood and just seeing blood makes her shiver and cringe. the thought of blood makes her want to puke but the situation right now just made her realize that she needs to do something quickly. she dropped the groceries that she had and immediately crouched down, placing his head on her thighs to prop his head up.
“w-what happened sota!” tiffany can feel the tears dwelling in her eyes but once she caught him open his eyes and sit up, laughing out loud while holding onto the fake knife that’s covered in blood made her squeal out loud, ending up hitting his arm continuously. “don’t do that don’t do that don’t do that!”
the prank was costly, but her reaction was priceless.
he’d had this idea hidden in the back of his mind for a while. The time was never right, the conditions never aligned for him to perform the act. He needed a type of person, someone who he deemed fit to play the role. That’s when he thought of Tiffany, his emotionally charged friend. His cast of her turned out to be the correct decision.·
the local party store had all the tools he needed to carry out this mischievous trick. a fake knife made out of styrofoam and a bucket of red pain used as a substitution for blood were bought. what followed next was the bait and trap. he called her over to meet at his place, prepping his hoax act by laying on the floor and pouring the paint all over him. he held the knife right to his chest and waited, waited for her to come in.·
he might have as well been dead instead of taking the beating that followed suit.·“ow ow ow ow ow! whoa, ouch! jesus christ, tiff.” laughter mixed in with his winces of pain, he sat up, giving the damaged arm a rub. she fell for it, but the tears that were visible rolling down her cheeks made him feel a tab bit guilty. just a little.·
“aw, come on, don’t cry. i’m sorry.”
